I have gone through so much, but I can’t say that I’ve seen enough of the world.
I have lived such a short duration, yet I wince at the notion of uncovering more ugly truths and lies.
I have taken another step, yet I have a few million more to go and a few million behind me.

It would be so much easier if we didn’t hope or expect anything from others. I wouldn’t feel so much disappointment then.
